| The Photographer | |

Darren Keith was born in Brooklyn, New York, in 1965. Today, he is one of the most internationally acclaimed fashion photographers. Keith began to take photographs of rock concerts at the age of 15, which he then sold as posters. For five years, he earned his living in this way until he decided to follow a friend’s advice and become a professional photographer. After initially studying psychology, he enrolled for one year at the prestigious School of Visual Arts in New York. Additionally, he was able to gain experience as an assistant on shoots. “I’ve been working as a professional photographer since I was 22, with all the highs and lows that involves. First of all in Los Angeles, and for some time now back in New York.” |

What, in your opinion, is special
about Trend Vision? To create something entirely new.
As a photographer, what would you still really like to achieve? To see my pictures in the best-known magazines in the world.
If you had the choice again, would you still be a photographer? Mmm... I think I’d be a racing driver.
Do you follow a particular philosophy
in your work? The most important thing
of all is dedication – total dedication to what
you’re doing.
