Rene van Zandberghe is one of Belgium’s most notable hairstylists. He was born in Liège in 1963, and today he manages a salon there with four employees. At the beginning of his training as a hairdresser, it was clear to him that the profession was the right one for him. He made his first appearances on the competition stage when he was just 16, and these gave him the experience which would influence the rest of his professional career: contact with other (international) colleagues, the opportunity to develop new, creative ideas with them and the chance to pass on this knowledge to others.
