Gerhard Kopfer, the long-hair specialist in the “Bundy Bundy“ team, was born in 1967 in Klosterneuburg, Lower Austria. He always wanted to be a stylist, and eventually started an apprenticeship. The three-month trial period he gave himself to “suss out” the profession has now lasted 15 years. For the last six years he has been a permanent member of the Bundy Bundy team. His biggest success was his collaboration with Hannes Steinmetz at the Alternative Hairshow in 2001 in London, and in 2002 in Bologna.
Hannes Steinmetz, the master of the cut of the Bundy Bundy team was born in Vienna in 1974. Though he derived from a hairdresser family in the fourth generation he never wanted to become a hairstylist. But the first vacation job at "Bundy Bundy's" set the seal on his destiny. Thrilled he began his hairdresser apprenticeship and suceeded early with award-hairstyling. For 13 years he is member of the Bundy Bundy team. Bundy Bundy operate eleven salons in Vienna and Graz, with a total staff of around 130. They also have their own training centre, offering training in the latest techniques and advanced training programmes.

When did you first become aware of Wella?
It was during my apprenticeship - we had a lot of Wella products in the salon.
What, for you, makes Wella a special business partner?
Wella as a company has a very good understanding of what hairstylists need.
What in your opinion is special about Trend Vision?
Trend Vision puts creativity first. The end result is not just amazing photos, but also - more importantly - creative and “creatable” hairstyles.
As a hairstylist, what would you still really like to achieve?
We are committed to making our artistic team one of the top five in the world, and to making Bundy Bundy known beyond the borders of Austria.
Do you follow a particular philosophy in your work?
Yes indeed. The philosophy we practise at Bundy Bundy is that the quality of our performance depends on the quality of our interaction with each other.
What do you think is the source of your creativity?
Every so often at Bundy Bundy, we give ourselves the chance to try out “crazy ideas”, and run brainstorming sessions. This allows us to give full rein to our creativity.

When did you first become aware of Wella?
In 1992 together with Mr. Aigner from Wella Austria I travelled to the hairdresser world championship in Tokyo.
What, for you, makes Wella a special business partner?
Wella is the ideal partner: always open minded for new ideas und always communicative. Our and the goals of Wella harmonise.
What in your opinion is special about Trend Vision?
Trend Vision for me is a thouroughly sophisticated concept. From the trend agency "Trend Union" adcertained, worldwide valid trends, that are converted into hair messages by us-that's great. I experienced Trend Vision from every perspective: first as a customer, then as a presenter and today as an active attendant.
As a hairstylist, what would you still really like to achieve?
We want to be under the top five worldwide with our Artistic Team and make Bundy Bundy know across the borders of Austria.
What do you think is the source of your creativity?
On the one hand I am inspired by everyday things and on the other hand by fashion magazines and movies.
